INNOVATIVE EXPERIENCES FOR THE ELEVATION OF THE QUALITY OF LEARNING IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (II)

One of the fundamental problems towards which the improvement of education systems worldwide is directed is the need to overcome traditional teaching styles. These styles have been fundamentally characterized in that they focus the teaching-learning process on the teacher, whose main function is to transmit information, while the student's role is reduced to the reception of that information, limiting his intellectual work. Therefore, transformations in the teaching-learning process are required at all educational levels to ensure that students learn to learn and become active subjects of their training: this would imply moving towards a new learning culture, more adjusted to complex needs of today's world, those that demand learning strategies, that enable people to continue learning, a requirement that, without doubt, transcends the old informational schemes of the school. Precisely, the ideas expressed show the possibilities offered by this number, to present contributions that address innovative experiences to improve the quality of student learning. It is important that those interested in submitting papers, carefully review the standards of the journal and the corresponding template, which can be downloaded from the journal site on the information page for collaborators; in such a way, that the manuscripts are mounted on the template in the oriented manner, which is an essential requirement for the review process to be initiated by the blind expert method. As editors of this monograph, we encourage teachers and researchers to send their contributions via email to the following address: This email address is being protected from spambots.
