Play and artistic expression: its connection with the Ecuadorian Initial Education Curriculum

This work collects the experience in linking the subject Play and learning through artistic expression, with the Ecuadorian Initial Education Curriculum, through the teaching assistantship of students of the seventh cycle Initial Education teacher training career of the National University of Education. The methodology of this study is based on the descriptive interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach, which allowed the identification of the influence that the subject has on the Initial Education Curriculum through a focus group, who ratify the link between the subject and the curriculum in pre-professional practices. The results suggest that the relationship of the initial education curriculum with the career subject needs to be understood and practiced by students in training, from the teaching assistantship to provide meaningful experiences for infants. and promote the development of professional skills.
