ACTIVIDADES PARA DESARROLLAR LA HABILIDAD ESTIMAR, CON LAS UNIDADES DE LONGITUD EN ESCOLARES DE 5. GRADO DE LA EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA

Abstract

The paper proposes a set of activities aimed at depeloping the ability of estimating with length units in 5th students with a practical and integral view in correspondence with the demands of primary school model. It also uses methods of the empirical, theoretical and mathematical level, a more then, observation, survey, analysis of the results of the activity, analytic- synthetic, inductive- deductive, historic- logical, and percentage analysis. It establishes the development levels in 5th grade students in the ability of estimating, and it reveals the possibility of strengthen this ability. The activities proposed are endorsed bi the criteria of specialists as appropriate, new and feasible.
