Abstract

This article shows a proposal of didactic activities, aimed at the development of the mathematical skills of the primary education students, based on the competence that establishes the current Spanish Legislation. The concepts of number, statistics, algebra and geometry are the blocks of content that have served to develop skills such as numerical position, operational calculus, mental calculus, basic concepts of descriptive statistics and identification of basic geometric figures. It is based on the  pragmatic, manipulative and accessible characteristics of   the students’ perspective, as well as its innovative character from a teaching point of view, which responds in an effective way to the demands created on  teaching-learning  process.
