EDUCATIONAL ADVANCES IN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN CURRENT SOCIETY

Educational advances in knowledge management in current society

The scientific and technological development that characterizes today's society requires continuously raising the level of knowledge management. Knowledge management is considered a fundamental strategic resource for individuals in any country, latitude, culture, or level of development. Therefore, it is essential that the educational field promote the creation of learning environments based on current methods of working with technologies and information at all types and levels of education.

Educational institutions must respond to new expectations such as lifelong learning. Knowledge management is therefore the cornerstone for individuals to become effective lifelong learners and contribute to social development, which is strongly influenced by the advances experienced in the generation of new scientific knowledge. This highlights the importance of promoting an education that offers learners the theoretical, methodological, and technical tools to develop the knowledge management skills required by current times.

Specifically, this issue offers, in its MONOGRAPHIC section, the opportunity to present contributions that address research, innovations, and experiences in educational practice related to the aforementioned topic, tailored to the demands of today's society. We remind you that the journal regularly welcomes contributions to the RESEARCH IN EDUCATION section. This section will contain works unrelated to the monograph's topic and is an opportunity for authors to publish articles derived from educational research. Therefore, their content must include the essential elements of the process (theoretical framework, methodology, results, and discussion), and must adhere to the journal's standard structure for this type of article.
