Abstract

To investigate and to analyze the educative potentialities of man is part of the sociology of education, but from the position of an educator it implies a pedagogical ethics that contribute to the individual and group formation in society. The analysis and the evaluation of the educative ideas, obviously sustained in political, social and cultural ideas of many of most representative figures of last centuries, provide valuable elements to be considered at present. This ideal of ethical behavior and pedagogical professionalism we inherited from many of the educators that lived at previous times and today, to the light of the historical and social development keep their relevance in the formation of the citizenship.
