Abstract

Transformations in Technical and Professional Education respond to the need that the student of the Polytechnic Institute of Informatics must be able to use critical thinking, the technological and scientific method for the study and formulation of problems for professional life, which require new ways of teaching, which enable the development of creative thinking. A proposal of teaching tasks is presented as a way to develop the ability to formulate Physics problems in Computer science students. Different methods were used: analytical-synthetic, systemic-structural-functional, modelling, scientific observation; surveys; review of documents, pedagogical tests, triangulation of sources, mathematical procedures and techniques to verify the level of knowledge of students about the ability to formulate Physics problems. The results are given in the teaching tasks containing a Guiding Base for Action from the structure of graded ability in correspondence with the levels of cognitive independence of the students that promote the connection with practical life and daily physical phenomena that contributes to the development of the ability to formulate Physics problems.
