Abstract

One of the basic elements when evaluating the quality of the service offered by an educational institution is the degree of satisfaction of its students. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to make a diagnosis of the level of student satisfaction with the educational services of the students of a private university in southern Mexico during the 2021-2022 school year. A quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional design was used. The population consisted of 90 students who responded to an instrument that measures student satisfaction with educational services. Descriptive statistics and non-parametric Mann Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used for data analysis. The results obtained showed that the dimension with which the students are most satisfied is the teaching ability of the teachers, while the administrative services dimension obtained the lowest level of satisfaction. The Kruskal-Wallis test did not show a significant difference in the level of satisfaction with respect to the semester, while the Mann Whitney test did not show a significant difference in the level of satisfaction with respect to gender.
