It is important to consider of evaluating training at the level of higher education the profile of the average graduate in relation to terminal efficiency. As is done in the levels of primary education with the various educational reforms carried out in the Mexican Republic. Since it is a notorious trend the loss of research competition, which for the times of this century, must have the graduate as part of his scientific training. This competence must be acquired through the teacher's commitment to the research work and attitude of the student, to train citizens for a knowledge society. It should not be forgotten that this is a function of any educational institution. Hence the need to have some instruments that allows us to make a diagnosis of the research training that students of higher education have, it was making a propose, which would constitute a reference model that orients the efforts to reach the objective.
