Abstract

This article is about the linkage among the Mathematics teaching and learning process and the scientific investigation as a systematic, intentional, planned process, guided the new knowledge research, as part of the universities’ formative process. The mathematical problems formulation and solution constitute a directive line for all the Mathematics disciplines. The problems with text increase the possibilities for professors to educate when they teach, linking the information and data with the student’s life, with the society´s interests. The objective of this issue is to insert the investigating activity of the students in the teaching and learning process to develop the economic education. This experience come from the observation and the activity register of the third year of Mathematics and Physics professors’ career students in the search of economic data and information in different sources for the problems with text formulation that is turn into Mathematics data and   permitted to verify the contribution to the student’s economic education.
