Abstract

The literary analysis constitute the essential activity of Spanish-Literature classes in high school and it has as a background the knowledge and abilities acquired by the students in secondary school in relation to literary judgment and the beginning of the literary analysis in an elementary way. Teaching Literature in high school means to make the students analyze the literary work they have already read, to make them learn how to assess it by themselves in such a way that they will be able to enjoy it due to its aesthetic values. Theobjective ofthis work is to show from the theoretical and methodological viewpoint how to work with the students to give them the necessary tools which let them make the analysis of the literary work related to the sort of lyrics planned in the syllabus in an efficient and independent way. The proposal of the methodological judgment is based on the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach what makes it up dated and important.
