Abstract

In this work, some considerations about on the Practicum-research model in the speciality Biology-Chemistry at "Félix Varela" Pedagogical University of Villa Clara are expose, in response to the requests of the Model of the Professional, the Program of the Work Investigative Formation Discipline, the Educative Strategy of the career and the characteristics of the current Subject Syllabus of the First Year of Biology-Chemistry career. Through out the paper it is pointed out the guiding role of the practicum-research model as integrating axis in the process of formation of teachers. The paper offers some examples to deal wifh general teaching abilities though the proposal of tasks in which the students use texts of different subjects, as well as school normative documents.
