SOCIO-EMOTIONAL SKILLS OF THE STUDENTS OF THE AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGICAL SCHOOL OF YUCATAN

One of the challenges of the High Education in the state of Mexico is the improvement of learning and the competitions in the students, in order to grow successfully in the modern society. Among the strategies oriented by the Secretariat of Public Education for the academic improvement in these centers is the development of the socio-emotional abilities through the program "ConstructT". This research is centered in evaluating the development of the socio-emotional abilities in the students and their impact in the obtained academic results with the implementation of the program referred in the High Education in the state of Yucatan, Mexico. The methodology followed was a qualitative type, carried out by means of the technique of incorporated focal groups with teachers of the program "ConstructT". The main found findings of this research are: the necessity to perfect the qualification of the teachers in the managing of the socio-emotional abilities based on the New Educative Model, it also offers possibilities of its implementation of this program on the part of the educative authorities.
