A EDUCATIVE RESEARCH DIRECTED TOWARDS THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE KNOWLEDGE NETWORKS

The purpose of the study is to understand how researchers in the nine groups that make up the study Spanish network are linked through one of its most relevant and visible manifestations: joint knowledge production. It documents the articles that each researcher records on the website of their university that is open access, to be analyzed in terms of their interactions as authors and co-authors. The case study is used through the application of the sociogram based on sociometry and supplemented by interviews. The results demonstrate the types of interactions identified that show how each group and the network are organize. The study identified four types of research group interrelationship are: Interrelation, Orbital, Satellite and Chain. The network studied appears to be Orbital with transit to an Interrelated structure.
