Labor preparation in second cycle mildly intellectually disabled students

The Cuban special education approach is vital for the achievement of active social inclusion of schoolchildren with mild intellectual disabilities. The present research aims to propose an educational strategy for the labor preparation of students with mild intellectual disabilities in the second cycle at José Ramón Fuertes Cano School of Camajuaní. For this, it is based on pedagogical, psychological, sociological and philosophical approaches that base the need to improve the pedagogical performance of the Special Education professional. In the research were used different methods; from the theoretical: analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical level, from the empirical level, the documentary review, survey, interview and observation, from the mathematical and statistical level, the percentage analysis. As a result, a set of needs was obtained on the basis of which an educational strategy is proposed to increase the job preparation of second cycle schoolchildren with mild intellectual disabilities, which maybe contributes favorably to achieving a more effective job preparation for their inclusion in the future social life of these students.
