Platform of Massive Opened Online Courses Opened: experience in literary education in Cuban university

Abstract

The COVID 19 pandemic brought with it new modes in the teaching-learning process as it allowed the significant use of information and communication technologies, depending on university students and teachers. The Degree in Education, Spanish – Literature, of the University of Pedagogical Sciences "Enrique José Varona" developed a massive open online course (MOOC), for its acronym in English, -Massive Open Online Courses-, for the study of literature, which is consistent with the computerization process carried out by the country. However, the integration of academic content with the use of technologies in the professional training process is still insufficient, therefore, the present work aims to propose a course mounted on the aforementioned platform for the application of technologies in the training of education professionals, which was implemented in practice.
