This work focuses on the life project of young university students, a problem identified from the institutional project: "Education, values, citizenship: challenges for the development of the personality of the Matanzas university professional." With the objective of identifying the link between the development of life projects and the value of responsibility in the professional sphere of first-year Law Degree students at the University of Matanzas, this study was carried out through the General Psychology subject. The main results indicate that the value of professional responsibility was expressed at medium and low levels. The life projects that were evident were graduating, traveling to other countries and professional fulfillment in the young people studied. Actions are presented as part of a didactic strategy applied to the subject General Psychology, carried out with that university group.
