El Salvador faces relative gaps in its human capital, which are reflected in aspects such as low educational coverage, repetition, dropout, and inactivity, among other incidences that significantly affect the country's possibility of economic and social development. This article proposes a methodology that allows identifying elements for the future construction of a theoretical model of technical and vocational education and training for the labor market, which strengthens human capital and promotes productive transformation in the context of technological and digital advances. This methodology, based on a mixed approach, will collect evidence from multidisciplinary actors, combining both quantitative and qualitative techniques to extract information from relevant sources that contribute to the future development of the model taking into account the current and future challenges of the labor market in terms of demand for human capital and that allows establishing the links and connections between the educational offer and the labor market. to facilitate the productive transformation of the country.
