Abstract

This article presents a study on the perception of reading comprehension among high school students, offering insights into their thoughts on this subject. The data presented by the students provides information on what can be modified in the teaching of reading comprehension, thereby helping to understand the meaning of text comprehension for adolescents at Colegio de Bachilleres 6 in Mexico City. This perspective on comprehension is explored through a ten-question survey. The information presented can serve as a basis for understanding how high school students think about text comprehension.
