Abstract

The potential of implementing Plan E in Cuba has made journalism training more flexible and tailored to the specific dynamics and demands of the field. Despite having six journalism training centers in Cuba, research delving into the accumulated experiences remains scarce. This article analyzes the experiences in research management within the journalism program at the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas. The study focuses on a theoretical and methodological systematization of documents related to the department's methodological activities, reports on the results of different years of the research project and student-scientific working groups, student satisfaction surveys, and the program's educational strategies. The results obtained in the study reveal recurring patterns and related impacts in the field of study and provide a basis for developing a proposed set of solutions.
