Abstract

The complexity of education has induced many visions about it, which brings explanations from diverse points of view and takes place as trends or models. All of them have restricted the consolidation of Pedagogy. One way to solve it consists of applying the system approach to the study of education, with the intention to offer a coherent totalized vision of the phenomenon. In this document we start from a critical analysis of the work (based on system approach too) made by (Álvarez, 1999) with the objective to extend the study about the problem as education term. In this analysis we differentiate problems which conduce to scientific investigations from those known as pedagogical practice problems. These ones manifest in two forms, a primary that generate educational processes and a secondary that guarantees its improvement.
