Treatment of triangles, elements and properties, using the geometers’s sketchpad

Abstract

This article make a call about the use of the tool, The Geometers’s Sketchpad which is installed ensemble at the software of each level, it means, in high school at the “Elementos Matemáticos” program from “El Navegante” collection and for further education the “Eureka” software from “Futuro” collection. In Pedagogic Science University “Félix Valera Morales” the referred tool can be found in all of the available software also is portable and easy handling. This software is unused because the poor knowledge from the peoples of his possibilities. It brings a way, using this assistant, for the treatment of matter complex: Triangles, Elements and properties, the software employ may also contribute of the abilities development in the field of geometry. The teaching tasks in the investigation show the steps to follow in the execution and use of The Geometers’s Sketchpad.
