Abstract

The teaching-learning of Physics for students of health careers such as kinesiology is a challenging task. The objective of this article is to communicate the opinions of kinesiology students about the teaching-learning of General Physics, information that is important to propose contributions in order to improve the quality of education regarding science teaching at the university level, especially in Physics. This study was carried at Bernardo O’Higgins University and considered kinesiology students, which were given an anonymous personal survey about their opinion regarding General Physics course. As results, they mostly consider physics training important for their future professional development and for understanding society. These findings allow to guide the teaching-learning processes in order to improve in the future the quality in the training of kinesiology professionals and shed lights to implement improvements through curricular innovations.
