The purpose of this thematic magazine is to outline some insights that may be of some use to those who, without being historians, are interested in investigating certain phenomena and historical processes concerning the educational field. Although it is true that knowledge of the origins of a phenomenon does not always provide sufficient elements to explain its current organization, this does not prevent admitting that its discernment generates explanations of the contemporary period from a broader vision of the process that led to the phenomenon. to the situation in which it finds itself today. In other words, all social history is the result of a process, so today's educational reality can be better understood and explained if we reflect on the different historical processes that have intervened in its gestation and development.

What is exposed in this edition proposes an approximation that can serve as a guideline to follow in the investigative practice, fundamentally of new teachers in the field of history of education.

All those who consult this material must know that it has been the result, not only of the group of authors that is stated, but also of the systematic investigative work of outstanding scholars of our country who contribute their pedagogical theories to the study of socio-educational phenomena, whom we have consulted and we have agreed on many of their considerations.

It is worth mentioning notable researchers of the pedagogical work such as: Dra.C. Rosario Martínez Verde, Dra.C. Mercedes Fernández Escaraverino, Dr.C. Daniel Aguila Ayala, Dra.C. Enia Rosa Torres Castellanos and others who contribute to the effort to combine some theoretical aspects necessary for the understanding of a scientological methodology for the study and research in the history of education.
