This article presents the research developed from an institutional project related to the professionalization of journalism and aims to make a proposal for curricular changes for the training of hypermedia professional skills in the Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. The method used was grounded theory, which allowed the contrast between theory and researched reality. The main results show the need to make curricular changes from three angles: curricular models, the profile of the graduate, and the elements of didactics that are assumed in the training of journalists. In addition, developmental learning, self-management of content, formative assessment, attention to differences, and internationalization of the curriculum should be included among the main changes.
