Abstract

The present work responds to the need to address comprehensive sexuality education from the daily perspectives of inclusive education. The methodology used considered a qualitative approach based on the case study method and the information was collected in 13 educational centers located in the Ecuadorian cities of Cuenca (4), Guaranda (3) and Quito (6). The research techniques were the interview, observation and documentary review. As a result of this study, it is proposed to address comprehensive sexuality education as part of the macro perspective of inclusive education, which allows responding to all the diversities present in the classroom based on the identification of methodological, attitudinal and political barriers to the implementation of teaching and learning processes that consider sexuality as a constitutive element of the integral and holistic character of children and adolescents. Likewise, it facilitates the development of comprehensive sexuality education processes through family and community support networks and the implementation of diversified curriculum methodologies.
