In the search for a school free of violence, where young people can meet, feel and extend their vision of how reality is conceived, it is necessary to visualize the impact that violence has on academic, family and social activities. This article addresses the understanding of school violence at the high school level as a multi-causal phenomenon, from ecological theory, which presents four levels: microsystem, meso-system, ex-system and macro-system. Understanding each level allows us to get closer to the origin of school violence and thus be able to perform behavioral unlearning, initially by identification, intermediately by modulating feelings and reactions, to finally, in extreme cases, avoid physical violence; which are elements that contribute to school dropout.
