Abstract

This article presents the results of a descriptive and cross-sectional study. Its objective was to determine the association of personal conditions (age, sex and school of origin) with academic stress; the sample consisted of  710 undergraduate students from the faculty of education of the Federico Villarreal University, the age ranges from 17 to 27 years old; 343 were women and 367 were men. It is concluded that academic stress is associated with the sex, age and school of origin of the students who made up the sample with a confidence level of 95%.
