Abstract

Early stimulus in deaf children contributes to the integrated development since early age and the family play an important role in achieving this, that is why it should be systematically oriented by the educational institutions under the principle of this activating character with respect to families. The objective of this work is to propose a manual of activities that contributes to family orientation for the early stimulus in children with special needs, especially deaf children. Theorical and empirical methods were carried out along the research. It was applied at the day care centre Amiguitos de Chile to four families developing a set of activities like workshop using the manual for parents Tito y la familia Santana with the help of didactical videos and the booklets Guiemos su mundo en silencio. All this increased the preparation of the family and the stimulus of deaf children in the early age.
