Abstract

Diversity in education is a challenge for the State because it is a multifactorial problem, where the political exceeds the technical, the pedagogical and the academic. The goal is to show from the recent results of the National Institute of the Educational Evaluation, that public policies in Mexico in terms of educational diversity represent a good effort without tangible results, to the detriment of a society that demands solutions, from the last redoubt for critical social change: the educational venues. The methodology developed was to make an analysis from a legal perspective in public education, contrasting these with the results, reported by the National Institute of Educational Evaluation, in the period between 2012 and 2016. It is concluded that the national education system is a place where solutions are given and killed at the same time.
