This contribution shares a pedagogical experience of online learning, based on a constructivist approach. It was applied for the didactic sequence of a course of superior level, with a sample of 30 students of the first semester of the Degree in Education of a public university of Mexico. The design made emphasis in the independent learning of the student, as well as in the development of processes of thought of superior order, such as analysis, synthesis, comparison and evaluation. In order to evaluate the effectiveness in learning, a questionnaire with 20 closed questions and one open one was used, and to value the production of the academic tests a valuation matrix was settled down. The results demonstrate that the use of online learning contributes to the development of cognitive processes and generates in the students a change in the form to assume their processes to learn.
