Software Geogebra for the treatment of functions in an institution of Angola

Abstract

In Mathematics programs given in the Higher Institute of Police and Criminal Sciences of the Republic of Angola, the theme related to Math Functions is, as a general trend, difficult for students. This situation can be observed not only in the Angolan context but internationally as well. On the other hand, heuristic aids facilitate the understanding of the problems and the searching of effective and rational solutions. In this paper the authors aim at developing and applying such means in the teaching-learning process of the before mentioned topics using the Geogebra software.
