This study presents a systematic review of the existing literature on the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the pedagogical practice of university professors. The PRISMA 2020 methodology was used, which allowed us to carefully identify, select, and analyze relevant studies published in various databases between 2017 and 2024, with the aim of recognizing patterns, trends, and common results related to the topic. The findings indicate that the use of technologies constitutes a dynamic strategy in the teaching process, as it stimulates ubiquitous learning and facilitates knowledge management, promoting the development of technological and research competencies as allies in pedagogical work. Furthermore, it streamlines teaching processes through the use of digital tools and social media. Key areas for future research are identified, such as explanatory studies that analyze the impact of the use of technologies on the pedagogical and research practice of university professors.
