Abstract

The books on research methodology and, in particular, those related to the area of education, offer different points of view on the research problem that may cause uncertainties to those who face the conduct of scientific research processes. The authors have elaborated a monograph on the subject, in which they have assumed a logic of exposition of knowledge based on the concept of learning task and have enriched the text with didactic resources of their own elaboration. This article aims to show the results achieved in the training of researchers in the Master of Pedagogical Sciences, using the monograph as a bibliographic source for self-learning. The application of a pedagogical test and a survey applied to the 34 students based on aspects contained in the monograph, show their content validity; however, it is suggested their improvement in terms of the usefulness of the examples and to pay greater attention to the processes and procedure of detection and precision of the planes of the research problem in the face-to-face sessions.
