Abstract

In the field of education many of the investigations are geared towards evaluating the impact of the different programs. This work is intended to conceptually clarify what is understood by educational impact and the stages that are involved in its evaluation. Educational impact is characterized by: intentional actions, involvement of the educational community, effecting a change, identifying the different processes developed within the educational institution and the observation of the positive and negative aspects of the program. The different stages of the educational process impact are identified as, short term of or initial, mid or in-process and long term or final and identifying their content and how to evaluate them.
