Abstract

This investigation arises by the necessities from the logopedic attention to the students late mental, of the Special School "Alfonso Valdés". The use of methods like the analysis and syntheses, the modeling, the documentary analysis, the observation, the interview and the percentage calculation, among others, allowed to confirm upheavals in the components, who pronounce themselves in a vocabulary reduced, accompanied by gestures, little mobility and difficulties in the pronunciation, which unfavorably affects the learning of the reading and the writing. In search of a scientific answer to that reality, a set of activities for the development of the oral language sets out in the students mental, who allow to the use of games and other organizative forms, late useful for the development of abilities that repel in their future performance. Set of activities is shaped in manual which it contains the conducted battles, that were applied in the special school and the progresses stated in their evaluation and allows to reach positive results in the logopedic attention, which makes possible to recommend his use like option to contribute to the treatment of the delay of the language in this type of students.
