Television programs for children: is it a resource to be used by the family in the development of general intellectual abilities?

Abstract

This article presents some reflexions on how childrens family can use their television programs in favor of the development of boys and girls. The author proposer some procedures and examples that prepare the family to develop general intellectual abilities like: observe, identify and describe, with the objective of helping these families to know what to do ofter, while and before observe a television program with their children.
