This article considers how the subject History of Cuba should contribute to the formation of the personality, especially in primary education, and how to achieve the development of skills that are addressed to the know-how, from thorough knowledge of historical content, the development of logical thinking and analysis of sources of historical knowledge, as such provides a general procedure for the treatment of the different skills that are worked in fifth and sixth grade.
