For its design, two stages were conceived: firstly, the theoretical conceptions about professional skills and specifically the theories developed about professional pedagogical skills were analyzed and in a second stage containing the methodological steps for the design of the profile and the assessment, by expert criteria of its relevance, usefulness, relevance and applicability. The main findings of the study emanate from corroborating that the elaborated profile enables teachers to conduct the training of professional skills for community work and the theoretical and methodological foundations required to the improvement of these skills for the professional performance of teachers training in the community environment.
