Abstract

The orthography is a very complex area of language. In the environment of the teaching formation, it is essential that students achieve a solid orthography competence, no only from the personal and professional development, but also it becomes a linguistic model for his future students. The present research is the result of the pedagogical reseach and personal experiences of authors in teaching signatures of Linguistic Studies of Spanish Discipline and deals with the treatment of graphemes from the etymology direction and it also proposes the methodological steps to assume the teaching of orthography from the history of language, from the analysis of the diastratic, diatopic and diafasic components.
