Environmental education in the Artistic Education subject

Abstract

This paper is focused on general aspects related to the value of the Arts Education contents to the Environmental Education of the students, which is illustrated through an activity. Environmental Education is treated in different sublevels and levels of the National System of Education, with an interdisciplinary approach; however, it is usually relegated to the natural sciences field, without taking into account the potentialities Artistic Education offers to its treatment.
