Abstract

Though interpreted in several ways, the presence of peace is an essential condition for a harmonic development of human life. The school and the educational systems may play an important role in the development and consolidation of peace, and can dynamically contribute to it, if there is an intentional work in that direction. The present article reflects and theorizes on various considerations inherent to peace. There is also a p ractical evaluation of the different ways in which the teachinglearning process of foreign languages, and es pecially that of “Integrated English Practice” as the subject they are the most exposed to during their studies contributes to the achievement and c onsolidation of a peac e culture in the foreign language students from pedagogical universities.
