According to such a need for transformation, Environmental Education for Sustainable Development is especially relevant. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen teacher education due to its role in the formation of new generations. The present work presents a proposal of a system of communicative activities to contribute to the Environmental Education of the students from the Foreign Language Teacher Education Program. The proposal is obtained through the use of qualitative and quantitative methods, among which the system approach, observation, survey and specialist criteria stand out. Teachers are provided with a system of communicative activities to be used in the discipline of Integrated English Practice, which specialists consider relevant and appropriate and which, undoubtedly, is an innovative experience that directly contributes to the quality of the formative process. This is evidenced in the implementation of the proposal, where positive results are found in the students, in the cognitive, procedural and attitudinal components in their initial formation.
