The integration of technologies in the educational practice of mathematics teachers at the secondary level

The article presented deals with the integration of Information and Communications Technologies in the educational practice of teachers, starting from a general perspective and, later, particularizing in the area of Secondary Education Mathematics. From a theoretical reflection, it is intended to analyze the problem raised, both from a global perspective, and in the particular context of the state of Colombia and the city of Barranquilla, a scenario in which one of the authors develops his doctoral work. For this reason, the article constitutes an opportunity to rethink the teaching task from the systematization of educational experiences, based on the current training qualification, based on the new contributions of technologies in the teaching-learning processes. In particular, the theme in Mathematics is particularized, as a fundamental area of the school curriculum and experiences are presented that show the integration of technologies in the teaching-learning process, as well as the acquisition of skills in the pedagogical work of teachers, which demonstrates the usefulness and relevance of technological tools and resources for the benefit of mathematical knowledge.
