Abstract

The article approaches the use of the Technologies of Information and Communications (TIC) in order to promote the interchange of knowledge through the computer science networks. A synthesis of the development of the global networks of information appears, standing out the basic ideas of the sprouting of Internet and the role of the web in the present society. Also, these subjects for the educative scope are distinguished, analyzing the networks as excellent support to elevate the quality of the educational scientific activity. Finally examples of computer science networks in the educative area that can integrate participants of international, national, provincial and institutional origin to promote the interaction, the collaborative work between their members, as well as the critical interchange of knowledge and experiences are presented.
