Self-awareness education: a way to activate learning in psychopedagogical training

This article presents a reflective analysis of the transformations and demands of the teaching-learning process in the training of psychopedagogy professionals, aligned with the need to strengthen active and innovative methodologies for addressing self-awareness education, aimed at ensuring the quality of psychopedagogical training. A summary of the theoretical aspects that serve as the basis for the reflective process is presented, focusing on updating the professional training process and achieving transformation in teaching management through active, participatory, and collaborative methodologies for problem-solving in learning. Experiences centered on emotional self-awareness from a reflective learning perspective are shared, focusing on ways to develop and educate with a socio-emotional approach in professional training. Overall, the work offers a result that supports self-awareness education as a dimension of emotional intelligence, with learning resources and information that promote interdisciplinary work and lifelong learning.
