Abstract

The article aims to offer an approach to the project management methodology, as an alternative platform that contributes to the preparation of the different social agents to face the solution of problems in the various scenarios of today's society. The basic concepts related to project research are presented, among which project management stands out as a discipline that allows guiding and integrating the processes necessary to start, plan, execute, control and successfully complete the work. The types of projects are analyzed, as well as what refers to the management of the project from its processes that includes aspects related to the life cycle, phases and stages, as well as some basic elements of planning and programming. The work offers a look at the systemic analysis of the project, emphasizing the identification of problems and solutions, as essential elements for the elaboration of the theoretical-methodological design, which as a scientific platform supports the project's strategic plan. Finally, the possibilities of using the project methodology to face problems in social settings are highlighted and some examples of its implementation are shown.
