The pedagogical training offered by the Félix Varela y Morales Honorary Chair at the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas focuses on cultural, scientific, and technological development to promote the comprehensive education of future generations of educators. This work aims to analyze university management within the Chair, centering on the figure of Félix Varela y Morales (1788-1853), whose ideas transcend their historical context to become a fundamental pillar of contemporary Cuban pedagogy. His legacy, institutionalized through the Chair, articulates three essential dimensions: the recovery of his pedagogical ideals, innovation in university management processes, and the development of values and civic awareness. The results demonstrate that university management, coordinated through this approach, strengthens research on key figures, reaffirms the relevance of Varela's ideals in social transformation, promotes academic excellence, and consolidates the outreach component through the development of Cuban cultural identity, thus contributing to the quality of teacher training.
